Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A creature with a great love for festivities, this dragon is of the opinion that every day should be Christmas. Constantly seen running around town with long swathes of ribbon trailing from her jaws and wings, she does her best to keep every single home and shop looking its absolute best all winter long. However, as much as she'd like to keep the whole village decorated year-round, she understands that the rains and storms of spring will turn the whole affair into a sopping mess. As such, she dutifully collects all the leftover streamers and ornaments when the snows start to melt--and then happily uses them to decorate her own nest. And her use of festive ribbons as bedding has an extra benefit, as well; when not sleeping on them, she enjoys dancing around with them, performing elaborate displays that are a true joy to watch.
