Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Karma was an anomaly from birth, and still is.  Instead of gold, her underside and horns boast a dark chocolate brown amid her midnight-black scales.  She was smaller than any black hatchling, a variation of the breed, and yet had managed to grow bigger than even her mother.  Because of her once-weak state, her grandfather Ebonclaw decided that she would have to fight her brother to earn the Black fighter training...which she did, and won, though not without some scarring.  Her roar is a hiss, and her growl is deep; she is a tough female through and through, because she always had to prove her strength.  One would have to look deep to find the true and gentle soul on the inside.
