Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The result of a strange union between seragamma wyvern and Christmas dragon, this dragon goes about the holidays in a more aggressive way than most of his breed. Dumping heavy gifts on tiny feeble elderly ladies, stuffing shiny new bottles into the mouths of annoyingly crying babies, and giving all the children he considers brats (which is most of them) coal, he's become quite a terror within the community, the other local Christmas dragons (including his poor luckless father) doing their best to clean up after and channel his vast creative energy into more happy outcomes. While this went on for years and years, the eventual (and surprising) theft of his heart by a local white dragon finally helped him keep the majority of his grumpiness in control, the time he previously devoted to some less enjoyed gift ideas now spent writing stories about the true meaning of Christmas--all while frequently incorporating his catchphrase of "bah humbug!"
