Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

He Shall Never Find the Sea is an extremely disagreeable, fiery, and easily angered dragon.  Although he has no idea who his parents are, he has been told that they chose his name, and for that, he hates them.  He can often be heard stating quite bluntly that if he ever find either one of his parents, he will do many things, the mildest of which is burning off their ears.  He has chosen to be called by the name "Oroa" for reasons unknown to all but himself.

All that is known of Oroa's history is that he was found as a very young hatchling, wandering the desert and crying out in fear.  An elderly earth dragon took him in, but he quickly learned to fend for himself and rarely visited his rescuer afterward.

It is because of his original name that Oroa's life is filled with hatred and anger, and it is this anger that drives him to wander the desert, his heart heavy and his eyes glinting, looking for something that no one believes in but him.
