Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sinuous and serpentine, Bracken is the merciless squad leader of the Underground Attack squadron at Riddle Hold. She has an unusual talent for magic and has trained her dragon grass, to release sleeping gas to stun enemies above her.
She was abandoned as extra stock as an egg, though she was nearly hatched and that event created in her a need for self sufficiency. Thus she became a voracious hunter and began to support other, less able Vine hatchlings, and as they grew up, she became bound and mated to the gentle Leafy.
Leafy helps to relax the serious Bracken, and through their oddly complimentary teaching styles (Leafy is gentle until a hatchling messes up, Bracken is vicious until someone falls behind) they are whipping the once struggling Riddle Hold forces into an army to be feared.
Bracken's nickname is 'the Wild Rose', because someone once suggested 'Silent but deadly' and she skewered that young dragon through the tender membranes of his newly grown wings.
