Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While the average dragon of this breed will consume just about anything edible (or non) that they come across, most still possess some pride in their sense of taste, and favor things that are genuinely delicious. Not so this dragon! A demented beast indeed with no inner gourmet at all, she combines her foods in truly atrocious ways--often melting cheese, chocolate, tomatoes, cream, gravy, and fruit juice into one horrifying broth before dunking all her other food into it! While her aggrieved friends have tried to explain to her that while all these things are delicious, they're best served independently, she stubbornly refuses to yield and insists the whole perk of food is you can "Have It Your Way."
