Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The 57th dragon of the clan, Stone Sculpture was once an abandoned egg, until a dragon had picked up his egg. He felt himself being carried to somewhere warm, there he stayed until he hatched. When he hatched, he saw two red dragons around him. The two red dragons looked after him as he grew up, until he was too big to look after as very soon he had towered over them.

There was another stone dragon, a female called Hard Rocks. The two of them liked each other a lot. They would often sit together and watch the rest of the clan, some  of them flying, other sunning themselves and a few sleeping. He loves the clan, and is determined to protect it if danger (if any) came along.
