Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys playing in shallow water.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Splash is an overwhelmingly happy-go-lucky dragon with almost no thought for the future, except wondering if what it does next will be fun. It enjoys many things, and can often be found helping the adult dragons with small tasks that don't require much physical ability. Most of all, though, it likes diving into the sea from high cliffs to see how big a splash it can make, and complains to adults and mature hatchlings that they "can't really understand how fun diving is" because they "have wings". While many dragons have tried to argue with it on this, none have been successful as Splash does not accept most logic and is very stubborn.
