Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Carnation is something of a diva, though she is far from the viciousness of her cousin, Flamingo. Carnation prides herself as sophisticated and dignified, strutting about with purpose everywhere. She is one of the more beautiful Flamingos in her home, second only to her sister, Pomegranate. Carnation doesn't seem to mind the comparison, although that's probably because she hides such jealousies ("It's unbecoming" as she would say.) Carnation is also significantly more eloquent than the average Flamingo, especially among her family. She is able to read and write in standard Draconic, though, by further inspection, she is no master. Such skills for her are developed more for show than for practical use, and, indeed, a dragon like her doesn't really need these skills in her environment. Though she acts pompous, Carnation is still a generally friendly soul. As much as she looks down on others and pretends to be above her own pay-grade, she does still treats others with kindness and caring.
