Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It occasionally shoots small puffs of smoke from its nose, like it’s trying to breathe fire.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Fairytale Princess loves hearing stories about princesses, princes, and on occasion, tells them. She loves acting out her favorite stories-with her being the princess of course. She is very kind and has many friends. She rarely flies or hunts for food, instead she draws pictures on the cave walls and talks to small creatures. It is normal for her to sigh dramatically as others pass, and tell them about the prince that she believes will come take her away to a castle. The others know that this fairytale is the only thing that will give this dragon her happily ever after.
