Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its belly is bright red and it is most active in the evening.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Graceful and delicate as the setting sun's light, Laluzi is a rather quiet but observant dragon. He's shy and seldom speaks, preferring to learn by watching others. He greatly admires his parents, and wishes to someday be a powerful and intelligent dragon, too. He can't understand why he isn't growing up, but he won't outwardly complain.
