Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. You find it odd that the hatchling doesn’t move at all during the day, but at night its colors change and it is full of energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Harry Hedgrou, the son of Bridgette Calony and James Hedgrou, is a bright, bouncy dragon that is a well known mischief maker. Harry has a bad habit of forgetting things like he can't bounce on eggs or newly hatched hatchlings. He's also a klutz, which is not okay because he's made of limestone. Harry and his family are pretty normal, except for his half-sister, Kimi Calony. She was born by a different dragon than their father, and this makes things stressful for Kimi.
