Coastal Waverunners spend most of their time skimming the waves along the coast, snatching up their prey from the shallow waters. They have developed markings along the leading edges of their body that help disguise them as breaking waves. When they are not hunting, they enjoy playing among sand-dunes and shallow tide-pools. These dragons live in small but noisy rookeries. Some stories say Waverunners can fly for days on end without landing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Seacrest believes that everything in life has to have some data about it. Since most things on the Crimson Island are data-free, she's decided to collect her own data. The only problem is her 'collection' process usually just consists of making stuff up. Her trend with making up statistics began when she matured when she stated that she hatched 83 percent faster than the average dragon, and she kept going from there.

She makes up statistics about everything: 12 percent of the fruit in Forestglider's hoard is rotten, 67 percent of the hatchlings have green scales, Goldclaw cannot answer 49 percent of the questions she is asked, and Vinescales keeps 91 percent of the Crimson Island's vines in her home.

That last one is actually pretty accurate.

Seacrest's data obsession drives most dragons crazy, especially since it's practically never correct. However, Flasheye's questionable band of detectives have accepted her into their group (there was a 97 percent chance of that happening).
