Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

No one's quite sure of where Tenebrae came from. They say he appeared in the darkest corner of the lair on a dark night, but no one seems to know quite how. He's no help in the matter, as he seems to have little interest in interacting with the others, and becomes incredibly avoidant if his past is even slightly mentioned. There is some kindness to him, though, despite his distance, so the rest of the lair seems to have accepted his presence merely as an oddity, not as a threat. In the end, though, it's likely he'll stand alone, if only because he refused any company for not wanting to drag them into his story.
