Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nicknamed by the nearby villagers, Force of Destruction is a Brute Dragon that in search of a mate, found himself trapped in a dragon trap set up by a dragon poacher. He was stuck there for three days before he saw an entire group of ibex bash out of another dragon trap. Hungry as he was, he remembered he had those giant horns too. He bashed his head into the ceiling of the cage and smacked the iron bars with his tail. Eventually he escaped and followed the group of ibex, who where walking over the mountain pass to a hidden valley. After they settled down to eat and drink, Force of Destruction flew in and grabbed around twelve of the ibex in his claws and jaw. On the mountaintop, he settled down and ate the ibex, after which he flew back to the village to destroy it completely, because in his mind, the villagers where the only ones he could surely say of they could have trapped him, while in reality, a dragon poacher had set up the trap.
