Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Focus was born with a strange, magical deformity. For whatever reason, his body is physically incapable of producing the entrancing force field that causes others to daydream around him. That isn't to say he is incapable of using magic in general (though he does struggle a bit in that department, too), he simply lacks his breed's signature aura. Even so, Focus is well accepted by his family and loves being around his siblings and cousins. Being the youngest of his brood and having his defect, he tends to look up to all his older siblings and admires their various talents. He can be a bit annoying and has a tendency to ask way too many questions, but he always means well. Focus is currently trying to find his own quirk. Though he is at a bit of a disadvantage, he still wants to stand out and do something special. What that may be, he has no idea. He lacks the artistic talent of his siblings, good control of mana, and doesn't even have that strong a personality. Well, he'll keep trying.
