White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Horatia belongs to an old and prestigious and maybe a bit old-fashioned family. It was more or less expected of her to mate and take care of the hatchlings while her mate took care of hunting and gathering fruit.

Horatia is by no means a rebel, but that kind of life simply was too small for her. Luckily enough, being a healer is a respectable career even to her family's standards so she has found peace and happiness joining the healing caves.
