Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In the ruins of a castle once called Ravenloft lives a very affectionate dragon named Caro. He spends his days chattering to the corvids around his home--and, shockingly, the birds speak back, remnants of an old enchantment cast on their forefathers. However, one day Caro found new company...

It was a lone dragon egg, hidden away in the corner of a crumbled building. With no parents to be found, Caro cheerfully raised the egg himself, dubbing the young dragon Cania and declaring her his sister (which, amazingly, ended up being half true). More reserved than her brother, Cania enjoyed only his company, retreating into the ruins when others drew close. It was on one such occasion that she found a very strange book. It spoke of rituals, sacrifice... and power.

Lately birds have begun to go missing, and Cania has grown more and more reclusive. An air of unease hangs over the once comfortable ruins, and Caro wonders what's happening to his sister--and why Ravenloft was destroyed at all...
