Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As a hatchling, Gweoc's favorite game was always hide-and-seek. He loved the suspense of it, and the anticipatory silence of the hatchlings all holding their breath. Eventually someone would sneeze or rustle their wings and the game would finally begin. But Gweoc was almost always the last one and he delighted in choosing the best hiding spots.

As he grew, the novelty of the game wore thin, but he remained a rather secretive dragon. Often, when stressed or upset, he will simply vanish only to reappear hours later. Many relate this to Fleshcrownes' habit of hiding their eggs in seemingly random locations, but Gweoc simply enjoys the privacy of being alone with himself and his thoughts, undisturbed by other dragons.
