Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Living by herself in the mountains, Larjias has amassed a respectable collection of pet rocks—to date, approximately three hundred of varying sizes. Thanks to her innate affinity with the earth as a green dragon, she is able to carve little faces onto all of them and arrange them into neat rows without having to touch them and potentially damage their surfaces. She has also given each rock a distinct name and personality, so that the conversations she imagines having with them can be more realistic.

Growing up, Larjias managed to catch several glimpses of the world beyond the mouth of her cave, and decided that she wanted nothing to do with it.
