Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Following a Phantom Valley tradition, the a group of dragons went mountain climbing to welcome the New Year.  Happy to have made it to the top of the snow capped mountain, the dragons saw to their surprise an egg they'd never seen before laying in a little nest.  The egg was frosted over and fearing that it would freeze to death before hatching, the dragons rushed it down to the valley's medic.  Even after hatching, Frost still lingers around the medic's hut, ready to help sick dragons.
