Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Winter Outlaw is just what her name says she is: a winter outlaw. She was abused as a hatchling by a cruel man who cut the 'ribbons' off her tail and used them as decorations. By the time her current human found her, she was as wild and aggressive as they came. For years the dragons of Kaoru's Cave nurtured her and took care of her. They tried to give her a name, but she refused to respond to them and became a very stubborn dragon. As an adult, Winter Outlaw is still a bit wild and skiddish and avoids male humans, but she absolutely loves snow wars. She doesn't let people ride her or touch her ribbons, but she enjoys dancing through the winter skies for them... in her own time. She doesn't like following any rules others try to make for her. Overall, she is quite a difficult dragon who has a hard time letting go of the past.
