Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

SweetTerrae is a nice Terrae Dragon, and is always polite and kind to strangers. It is strange that she kept her sweet disposition because as a hatchling she was kidnapped by a group of young humans and held for ransom. Her parents refused to give up any of their hoard to pay for her. The band of humans then didn't know what to do with her. They neglected her for a while, she only lived because of her specially photosensitive scales that were still able to take in sunlight from her little cage. She was thin when they finally decided to sell her at auction. Her current human owner took the sickly hatchling in and helped her heal, both physically and mentally. Now SweetTerrae is a treasured part of her cave. She feels very lucky to live in a cave that loves and supports her.
