Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Deathvex came to the Breedery as part of an egg trade between Lurhstaap and another dragonkeeper. She was unhatched at the time of the trade and remembers nothing of the place of her birth. To her, the Breedery is home. She is vociferous in its defense and almost never fails to join border patrols or defensive actions. She is fond of Savage Void. The two have offspring together, in fact. But they have never formally become a mated pair. They seem content with a more casual association. Deathvex is a talented and cunning sorceress, but the way she uses magic reflects the martial tendencies of her breed. She often uses it to directly enhance her combat abilities. More subtle effects, however, are not unknown, and she doesn't hesitate to seize any perceived opening or advantage, so that many of the other blacks do not like to spar with her. Still, she is highly respected for her prowess.
