Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Holly Spirit was the other Yulebuck dragon that arrived at the clan during a cold winter so long ago. He too, as his adoptive brother, received a lot of attention from all the dragonesses in the cave, but unlike Northern Lights he welcomed it. He became a loud and cheerful dragon that tends to act and speak before thinking, getting frequently into trouble. Spirit is almost like a big hatchling and tends to be the frozen's ally and helps them in their pranks and evil plans, especially if they involve bothering the other adults. One of goals in life is stealing his brother's little tree and hiding it in odd places, to then flee and watch him go mad while he searches for it.
