Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

This feisty little Cheese dragon is named Emily, after Remy's little sister. Remy is the human keeper of Ryuu Tanima, the Dragon Valley. Emily was created after Remy gifted Hotaru and Aiko a large cheese wheel as a gift for Hotaru's aide. To entertain his mate, Hotaru used a small chunk of this cheese to make Emily. Emily is made of Jalapeno Gouda, a tasty but fiery cheese. Aiko wanted to name the little Cheese dragon in honor of Remy, so Remy suggested the name Emily, after one of her sisters, AFTER seeing how feisty the little creation was. Emily can be a little bipolar, and has been known to go crazy for no reason at all. Despite her personality flaws, she is a beloved member of Aiko and Hotaru's family, and of the colony. Emily is best friends with Kurafutoshi, a Paper Dragon, and her "brother". Emily is "mated" to Cheezy, for whom she waited a long time. She can be a moody "dragon", but she does love Cheezy, and he loves her.
