Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

The second of three Paper Dragons that inhabit the library, The Scarlet Letter, or Scarlet as she is more often called, is more impulsive than her elder brother. She is crafty and witty, and uses just about anything to get what she wants. She is also a gossiper, and the expert of 'he says she says' in the cave. If anything is going to happen, Scarlet will know.

Scarlet is most often seen flying around the bookcases, an intimidating presence to make sure no one tries to steal their scrolls. Her virtue lies with her speed, and the row of razor-sharp pieces of paper on her wings. She'll shred you before you could say 'paper cut!!!'.
