Swallowtail Dragons are graceful and quick flyers, much like their namesake bird. They are capable of precise aerial acrobatics, and can reach very high altitudes. Because of this, humans observing these dragons are often astonished at how large they are when confronted up close. A Swallowtail’s diet consists of insects and small mammals plentiful in temperate forests. These dragons are also made remarkable by their paper-thin wing membranes, which allow light to pass through, creating an astonishing effect on starry nights.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

TwiceTail is a very innocent dragon that always wants to see the best in everyone. Even the most vile, vicious, untrustworthy dragons have some good in them to her. Most of the time she is right but other times she befriends a monster who only wants to be with her to get inside information about her clan. This has never caused her to doubt that their is good in everyone. Even though that shows that she has a strong belief, it also makes her a dangerous dragon to have in that cave. So, in order to get rid of the risk of her giving out information to traitors she is watched all the time and is not allowed to go anywhere without an escort. She does not mind and knows that they do this to protect her and the clan. She is admired by all the other dragons for her attitude towards everything,  no matter how horrible.
