Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Some believe that a Nebula dragon chooses the star system they wish to be represented on their wings. Others say that the stars choose the dragon, imprinting them with some cryptic message. After spending years hunched over books on astrology and countless nights flying as high as she dared, her sharp eyes searching for the cluster of stars that are identical to the ones that decorate her wings, Twara finally unlocked the key to deciphering the message, or so she says. She believes the starry pattern forms a map to a strange world that she calls Star World, and enjoys fantasizing what amazing creatures she might find there to anyone who has the misfortune of striking up conversation with her. Many have deemed her mad and simply smile and nod, privately muttering behind her back about the "poor, sick Nebula," but nevertheless she knows that Star World is out there somewhere. She isn't the only the Nebula to speak of it, and she certainly won't be the last.
