Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iceheart lives in the tundra like environment overlooking the Plains of Repose. She once had a compassionate heart, but all that changed when her mate was killed by a band rogue dragons. Since that terrible time her heart has become as cold as her exterior. Any dragon that she sees in her territory very rarely makes it out alive. The wind howls through the caverns of her lair deep in the heart of this isolated land. Iceheart lays in the back of her home, listening to the blizzard beating against the walls. She silently ponders to herself what it was that she was referred to before her partner was killed. Sadly, like her mate, Iceheart's old name has become buried.
