Setsong Dragons wake with the setting of the sun. They can be found hunting during the night, only to vanish into their lairs once the sun begins to rise. Their glossy feathers and scales are a deep purple, but the evening sunlight reflects off of their bodies in a beautiful red-gold shimmer. Setsongs are reclusive dragons, found alone or in small groups, and are fiercely territorial--and loyal, protecting their hatchlings and group just as stubbornly as their hunting grounds. These dragons have a respectable ability to weave magic, but only once the sun has started to set: the daylight weakens their magical powers, and their spells are most potent at night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rosy Shingles is fifteen or sixteen in dragon years. She likes cake, music, soft creatures, and Poppi Paddo. She loves Poppi Paddo, and she tells him that all the time. He doesn't get it and he friend-zones her too much. She doesn't like anyone who takes charge because she believes that she should be the only one in charge; the only exceptions are her loves Poppi Paddo and Magenta Sunscale. She tends to have temper tantrums at times, but she loves singing, she jokes around, and she's fierce and strong. This independent and strong dragon has some soft sides toward some specific dragons. Her brick wall of a heart can only can be broken towards Poppi Paddo and Magenta Sunscale.
