Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Autumn Sunset was one of the first of his species to arrive Wyrda's clan, alongside Autumn Sunrise. Both of them grew up together and, as nothing else could have happened, became mates. Sunset is a ferocious dragon who enjoys battling and is proud of being a Seasonal, as he says that without his kind, no one would be able to enjoy the beauty of the four seasons. He is a valourous warrior and often leads excursions across the land in search of new territory for the clan. The dragons favourite word is loyalty, and he would die for any of his friends, especially for his mate. Mess up with Sunrise, and you, and your family will suffer. He has always loved the dragoness' kind and pure heart, and misses her a lot when he is out on a mission. The Autumn's biggest secret is his weakness for hatchlings; he loves them, and can be occasionally found lying on the floor while letting them chase his colourful tail and there is nothing that makes him prouder than seeing his numerous offspring suceed.
