Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Despite her title, Meishter is actually a female winter seasonal. But that is not what most dragons are concerned about. Rather, they are more interested in figuring out why she is called "Magmatic Pie", of which she refuses to reveal the reason. She claims it is a terribly, dreadfully long story involving a pile of firewood, an oven, filling, crust, and a pie tin, along with a horrifyingly large amount of magma. It is also a story about the lack of involvement of a different pile of firewood, another oven, batter, icing, and a cake tin, along with a horrifyingly larger amount of magma. At this point most dragons just embrace the idea that the intense cold she lives in has somehow altered her brain and made her slightly insane, but unknown to them, the reason behind her name (to which her terribly, dreadfully long story alludes) is very simple: she chose to call herself "Meishter Magmatic Frozen Pie" simply because she did not choose to call herself "Meishter Magmatic Frozen Cake".
