Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Her personality as vibrant as her coloration, Madison is certainly one to leave some sort of mark- usually from a misplaced lick of fire or claw- anywhere she goes. From the time she could walk, she was known to be a daredevil, taking any and all bets made with other hatchlings and winning most just to prove she could. As an adult, this behavior seemed to stop, mostly due to her friends having grown up past that childish stage. Madison found life rather boring until an older Gray offered her the chance to do something... interesting. Like the Gray, Madison was- and to this day still is- able to perceive sounds as vibrant colors and shapes. The test was to see if being isolated in a system of caves would cause this to diminish, and Madison took it on without a moment's hesitation. The experience scarred her, however, leading the Autumn dragon into a life of semi-delusion and paranoia, and a crippling fear of enclosed areas.
