Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has long toes, and likes to wander around on lily pads.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon is the size of a cat. With webbed feet, it lives in a cave alongside a quiet riverbank in the rainy north. Waftice isn't very socialable but doesn't mind being among small crowds so long as they aren't loud. The dragon is merciful, and if it sees an injured creature, will take it into the dragon's small shelter and care for it. Though it is cautious, it is also curious when it comes to unknown areas.
