Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flyer's name matches his attitude perfectly. Whenever he is out to hunt in the rain forest, he brings along ForrestDragon, who ADORES flying on him for his speed, and forever hatchling SwiftGales (who always goes to challenge him). He has a huge wingspan, big enough to cover his mate, Cloud (pretty much the largest dragon in the clan) completely. Flyer is the flirt of the clan, and Night Artemis gets annoyed and usually knocks him into place quite often. His sublime body is like a green bullet through the sky and is great at grabbing eggs. He takes great care of young hatchling and eggs, but often tries to poison Mist's Soul for getting rid of eggs. He has attempted about thirty times already and failed. Of course, playful little Mystic Soul is keeping count!

He is fond of the Swallowtail hatchling and flies all around the clan with it.
