Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moldavistum StoneShock (after the gemstone: Moldavite) is the 69th dragon of the clan cave, found by The Clan Mother among a pile of small rocks and stones. As a hatchling, she constantly gathered small pebbles, carefully and deliberately arrayed around her as if in some kind of communion with them. There can be no doubt that she is connected to the very ground itself, for it seems to shake under her footfalls in a chorus of acknowledgment. The clan elders learned very quickly to respect this bond, and more so than any other, they endeavor to placate her to avoid her fury or wrath. It is said that, should she choose it so, the land and rock itself would rumble and quake at her command with a simple whack of her tail. Thankfully, Moldavistum is relatively even tempered, and slow to anger, and seems quite content in her quest to wander through the deep expanses of the clan cave, gathering a sampling of each different type of stone hidden there.
