Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

'Tir na nOg' is the name of the Celtic Otherworld and it's believed to be the realm of the dead and the home of the deities, a country where is no old age, happiness lasts forever, and a hundred years are as one day. Once the dragon 'Tir Na Nog' and his mate were human beings. He was a young man, she was a beautiful woman, who lured him to follow her over the sea, and then both were never seen again. The woman lured him into the Otherworld Tir na nOg, which can only be arrived by death, so after his first step into it he died. For the deities the woman acted in sin and they decided to castigate her, and they filled her with undying love for the man but he wasn't filled with love for her. The woman should be worthy of his love and in order that it wasn't too easy for her, they also enchanted both into dragons which are bonded in love and indifference. And as a memorial for her, they named the innocent man, who trusted her blindly and who was a dragon now, 'Tir Na Nog The Faithful'.
