Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Weyara loves to fly like most other Skywing Dragons. She will always be found soaring high on thermals, gliding low over the forest tree tops, or twisting and turning as she races after her prey. She has one particular spot that she will always use when coming down to rest, and if any other dragon is blocking that place she gets very upset and will do everything to get them of off that spot; even going so far as to give them nips and scratches if they are silly enough to not move when she asks them politely. She is a very well mannered Skywing Dragon, but this was not true for her younger years as back then she was extremely boisterous and always pushed everyone out of the way to get her food. Weyara has a habit of always coming in to rest at sunset and no other time. One time she had to be supported by another Skywing Dragon as she was so exhausted that she could barely flap her wings, but refused to come down to rest until the sun had dipped below the horizon.
