Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Serphenna Mystal YuleChild (Clan Mystal) was born into the clan as member number 4,597. From the moment she emerged from her shell, she enjoyed a very special place in the Clan Mother's heart; considering her prized and festive lineage coupled with her connection to the Lady AuroraTuria, the Clan Mother's own daughter! She spent much of her first year tending to the needs of the clan's younglings and she was chosen to care for her younger brother, Deizidor; the first Yule born to her parents.

Serphenna took her duty to heart and developed strong feelings for him. The closeness shared between the siblings was becoming a concern, and the Clan Mother discouraged the coupling, but the pair soon declared their unyielding love for one another! Such a bonding had never before occurred within the clan. After much reflection, the Clan Mother reluctantly acquiesced to the match, but forbade them from having offspring of their own.

Only time will tell if her wishes will be kept...
