Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is so full of energy that you have a hard time keeping up with it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Guvoth is unfortunate to have such an odd last name, because it leads to newcomers of the dragon clan to think he doesn't exist. Mlagern, the scribe of all written records in the cave, is known for getting bored quickly and writing random things at the bottom of his books, records, even dragon descriptions. So, most have an odd sentence scribbled down at the bottom. Guvoth is right on the border between the actual dragons and the sketches of nonexistent dragons that Mlagern names the first words that come to mind. Because his surname is 'Bubblystripes', most newcomers look at the duplicate scroll they're given and think that he's just the point where Mlagern goes off into inane ramblings. Guvoth does take offense whenever this happens, and as such is a pretty grumpy little Whiptail. He tries to make himself feel better by showing off the bubbly spots that make up the stripes along his back, but this doesn't help because most people giggle at such cute markings on a tiny dragon.
