Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Shinin no yona sairento has been mute since she was hatched. She communicates through a bit of telepathy that she was able to learn, but she is not very good at it so most of the time she does not communicate at all. Her close friends and family know what she wants and needs though just because they are around her enough. She does not see her inability to speak as a hindrance, but more like a blessing because she is able to focus more on her quiet time. She has a lot of quiet time where she sits deep in thought about a great many things.

Her name means deathly silent.
