Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Morxa has been the mythical protector of the city Moshim for as long as the city walls have stood. Legend has it that Mo Atu, a talented sculptor who had a great love for his home town, created a statue of a dragon so lifelike and intricate as a present for the King and Queen that the Gods themselves blessed it. Young sculptors travelled from far, far lands to Moshim, just to see the statue and learn from Mo Atu's craft, bringing great wealth to the city. But a neighboring kingdom saw upon Moshim with envy, and sent an assassin to kill Mo Atu. But it is told that the sculptor loved his city so much that his soul stayed and possessed the dragon statue to awaken it every night and protect Moshim from harm. It is considered to be good luck to be visited by the living statue Morxa, even though nowadays it is known that Morxa is nothing more than a very docile nocturne dragon who has entered a symbiotic relationship with the people of Moshim: she protects them for food and attention.
