Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lytali is Gathir's mate and love. She is a sweet and gentle dragon, the jewel of the cave. Lytali is very sensitive and cares very much for her mate Gathir, who loves her deeply. Their life is sweet, and being young they are very much in love. However, to the cave's great sorrow, Lytali cannot lay eggs. Lytali has since become somewhat cold on the inside, forever mourning her barrenness. But not even Gathir notices, as on the outside she is still the same carefree and beautiful dragon he loves.
