Speckle-Throated Dragons are an active, playful breed. They are easily excited and rarely remain still, spending much of their time in the air. Living in groups of up to sixty dragons, they nest in open plains and at the bases of mountains. Their speckled throats are their most distinctive feature, as well as the loud, echoing call they produce to communicate with one another. Male Speckle-Throats have a small crest on top of their heads, which they can flush with blood to intimidate enemies and attract mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Cheerful and always friendly, Drosa is a ray of sunshine in an otherwise bleak place. The Speckle-Throated dragon has never been seen to be in a bad mood, always grinning and joking around with the others. Though some might get annoyed at how smiley he is, they appreciate the hopefulness that radiates from him. Oftentimes he can be seen flying overhead, doing impressive stunts to burn off the energy pent up inside. However, on days he isn't soaring in the sky, he is cheering up those who are feeling down, or are just having a bad day. For this reason he is popular with all the dragons in the cave, excluding those that have repeatedly tried to sink their teeth into him. The hatchlings often like crawling over him, batting playfully at the crown atop his head. Often he lightly shakes them off, chuckling as they shriek in surprise. He is often used to alert the castle of intruders, his loud, bellowing call warning those within of the possible threat.
