Soulstone Dragons are deeply empathic creatures. The pearls which they carry with them from a very young age are deeply attuned to the emotions of those around them, glowing in accordance with the strength and sincerity of the bonds individuals share with one another. Soulstone dragons have the ability to show that, even in the heat of a vicious feud, the love that friends, family, and partners share for one another remains true and strong.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kunfurmluff seeks out those who cause her pearl to shine brightly, in order to show them just how much they are loved. When her pearl is glowing, she does her best to show those who relationships are in trouble that reconciliation is the best option. If there is arguing and her pearl remains dull, she avoids the situation.

Two families, feuding for generations; two youngsters, enrapt by forbidden love; and extended family from both sides confronting them upon a poorly planned tryst—these were the components for the moment when this dragon's pearl shone brightest. She held it between the two in an attempt to convince the families to make peace.

Unfortunately, the extended families had other ideas. Attacks were made from both sides by everyone except the loving couple; Kunfurmluff shielded the lovers to protect them while the rest sought to slaughter each other. In the end, she flew the couple to safety far away from the bloodshed so that they could live in love instead.
