Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aquia is sweet and playful, loving nothing more than to have a game of tag with other Blunas. She seems to favor menhaden to most other fish, but she must eat a good deal of them to feel full. Aquia is a notorious prankster who will gleefully sneak up on another dragon and bark to scare them. Often, her victims are sporting about it, but some take exception, and she has learned the hard way which dragons not to trifle with. She likes to collect bits of dead kelp and whale bones and place them in an underwater hoard.
