Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"Of all the stupid names," the dragon growled as he paced in his cave. Of all the stupid names that Raptor could have given him. "Of all the things, it had to be 'Deep Setting Sun'!" Snorting, he blew smoke from his nostrils. "I get it; I'm a crepuscular, sunset-colored dragon. In other news, water is wet!" Still pacing, he let his claws dig in to the soft sand that made up the cave floor.
After hours of this behavior, another Sun dragon finally spoke up. "You know, you're not the only dragon he gave a stupid name to."
"Really, now," snarled Deep Setting Sun.
The Sunset nodded. "Really."
"I assume you're speaking from experience."
"Indeed. Raptor named me Inigo Montoya."
"That doesn't sound so bad."
"I'm female," the dragon muttered in response.
A moment of silence, then, "Oh."
