Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rumplepuff is the eldest of all chowdahxhead's dragons. He is quite lazy and lives up to the fluffiness of his name—he, despite his size, is quite fond of curling up around hatchlings and snuggling with them. Although being male and not the largest of dragon breeds, he feels as though it his his job to watch over the eggs and hatchlings in chowdahxhead's nest.
