Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stonguardono is a dragon with a broken heart.  Long had the Wolfe Spirits awaited his arrival at the GhostWolfe Caves.  Many stone dragons had strayed by their caves, but few had stayed, and the Spirits longed for a mate for the stony-cold Stongaurdia.  Bred in the cave of an ally, Stonguardono quickly found his home in the lofty entrance-ways to the caverns, maturing in record time.

His attraction to the fully mature Stongaurdia was apparent immediately, but her heart has proven as stone as her scales, and she outright refuses the younger dragon all but her slightest attentions.  Distraught, Stonguardono's loyalty to the Wolfe Spirits warred with his inflamed sense of rejection, but in the end he simply chose to channel all of his thought and energy into defence of the caves and its inhabitants.  Fleeing was not an option for the young and unwaveringly loyal dragon.
